Buffalo, N.Y. — Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman on Tuesday announced a settlement ordering Samuel Kurz and Central Park Plaza, LLC, the Brooklyn-based owners of Central Park Plaza, to clean up the property that has become a dangerous blight in the heart of a Buffalo community.

Williamsville man, on his way back from N.Y. City, held in attack on cabbie

A Williamsville man with a history of mental health issues was being held without bail in a Central New York jail on an attempted murder charge Friday after he attacked a cabbie as he was driving him from New York City to Buffalo, authorities said.
